Discover Dugi Otok
Dugi Otok, or 'Long Island,' is a paradise for adventurers. This itinerary takes you to three must-see spots: Golubinka Cave, an abandoned military bunker, and a mysterious sunken ship.
Golubinka Cave
This cave is famous for its stunning lights and crystal-clear waters. It's an amazing spot for snorkeling, freediving, and deep water soloing. The cave also features various "sketchy" ledges for cliff jumping.
Abandoned Military Bunker
Further along the coastline, you can find multiple abandoned bunkers which you could cliff jump off of them. The bunkers also look amazing from the inside.
The Sunken Ship
This ship is a popular spot for snorkelers and freedivers. It is home to a vibrant array of marine life, making it an excellent underwater photography subject. Its shallow depth, probably the shallowest on the Adriatic coast, makes it accessible for most snorkelers.

Best Time to Visit
Summer
The best time to visit Dugi Otok for these activities is during the summer months (June to September). The sea is warm, calm, and offers excellent visibility for snorkeling and freediving. Early summer or late summer can offer fewer crowds.
Difficulty
Easy - Hard
Activities range from easy snorkeling and swimming in the cave to more challenging cliff jumping and freediving. Cliff jumping heights vary, so choose spots appropriate for your skill level. Some areas around the sunken ship or cave entrance might have currents, requiring good swimming ability.
Duration
All-day
With so many unique spots to explore and activities to enjoy, you can easily spend a full day discovering the Golubinka Cave, the abandoned bunker, and the sunken ship on Dugi Otok. It also takes time to reach the island, so better spare a full day for it.
Reachability
Car, Boat
You can reach Golubinka cave either with a boat or going to Brbinjšćica Bay with car and renting a kayak from there. I do recommend recommend the first option though since the other option is time consuming and you will not be able to checkout the ship wreck. If you decide to go with the car/scooter, you could either rent one on the island or ship your own on the ferry.
